1. Weather Cancellations (By Blue Giants)

Tours operate in light rain and typical marine conditions.
However, we may cancel a tour for:

• high swell

• strong winds

• unsafe marine conditions

• mechanical issues

• circumstances beyond our control

If we cancel, guests may choose:

• a full refund, or

• a free reschedule to another date

Blue Giants is not responsible for travel, hotel, or other associated costs.

2. Customer Cancellations & Rescheduling

Because charter vessel costs and planning are significant, the following policies apply:

More than 48 hours before your tour:

• You may reschedule your booking one time at no charge.

• Refunds are not available.

Within 48 hours of your tour:

• No reschedules

• No refunds

Same-day cancellations or no-shows:

• No refunds or credits

• No reschedules

• This includes arriving after boarding has begun or after departure.

These policies are standard in the whale watching industry.

3. Late Arrivals

The vessel departs promptly at the scheduled time.
Guests must arrive early enough to check in and board.

• Late arrivals cannot join the tour.

• No refunds, credits, or reschedules will be provided for late arrivals.

4. “See Whales or Come Back Free” Guarantee

If no whales are sighted on your tour, you may return on a future tour free of charge, subject to the following conditions:

• Valid for as long as Blue Giants continues to operate whale watching tours

• If Blue Giants ceases operations or discontinues whale watching tours, the guarantee expires

• One complimentary return trip per paid guest

• Must be booked in advance

• Non-transferable

• Subject to availability

• Applies only to regularly scheduled tours

• Applies only to a tour of equal or lesser duration than the original booking

• Guests may not upgrade to a longer or higher-priced tour using a free return trip

• The determination of whether a tour qualifies as “whale-less” is made at the sole discretion of the Blue Giants naturalist or tour guide.

• Does not apply to private charters

5. Donations

All donations made to Blue Giants are final and non-refundable.

6. Minors

All guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Guardians are responsible for the supervision and safety of minors during the entire tour.

7. Private Charters

Private charter bookings follow separate payment, cancellation, and refund terms.

8. Booking Platform

All bookings are processed securely through Wix Bookings and associated payment processors.
We do not store full credit card information.
